API endpoints introduced for dashboard widgets
We have introduced API endpoints for the dashboard widgets. This will allow the users to pull in data from Dragonfruit to external systems for reporting or presentation. Each widget now has a "Get Source Data" button which reveals the API endpoint for the data in the widget.
Once clicked the pop reveals the URL of the API endpoint for the widget.
The API endpoints are protected by authentication and a token needs to be passed to authenticate the API calls. Please contact your Customer Success Manager to get the tokens.
Improved Widget Customization with Object Type Filters
Users can now choose the object type for which data is displayed in widgets. Available options include People and Vehicles. When selected, the widget shows data only for the chosen object type; leaving the selection empty displays data for all object types. The option is available under the "Advanced" section of the widget settings.
Simplified widget configuration
We have simplified the widget configuration for dashboard widgets. This update replaces the requirement to enter formulas with easy to select templates for metrics and output formats. Older formulas are still available under the custom option.
Added filter configuration for cross-back filtering and static object filtering
We have released support for cross-back filter and static object filtering for dashboard widgets. The widget can be configured for all channels as default, and we can also configure overriding exceptions per channel.
Bug Fix - Sales conversion and transactions have been restored
A bug that was causing the transactions and sales conversion figures from loading correctly for widgets with a larger number of sites included has been fixed. These figures are now appearing as expected.
